This study aims to examine the effect of Cooperative Knowledge, Managerial Competence, and Entrepreneurship Competence on Member Participation and Its Impact on the performance of Employee Cooperatives in the city of Pekanbaru
The population in this research were all Cooperative employee who are active status in the city of Pekanbaru of 25 Cooperatives with 77 officials. Sampling uses a saturated sampling method, all of population were regarded as sampled. The tool used to analyze data is the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program
The results of this study indicate that: (1) cooperative knowledge and entrepreneurial competence affect member participation while managerial competence does not affect member participation (2) cooperative knowledge and entrepreneurial competence affect cooperatives performance while managerial competence does not affect cooperative performance, (3 ) member is able to mediate the affect of cooperative knowledge and entrepreneurial competence on performance, but it is unable to mediate managerial competence on performance.
