Analisis Persaingan Industri Jasa Transportasi Darat Antar Jemput Dalam Provinsi (Ajdp) Jurusan Pekanbaru-Tembilahan

This study aims to determine the problems faced and the competition of the AJDP land transportation service industry in Pekanbaru-Tembilahan. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data sourced from questionnaire results and secondary data. Used is data obtained from the Riau Provincial office of relation in 2015-2018, Pekanbaru City Statistics Center. The test instrument used in this study is Market Structure Analysis to find out which companies are dominant in controlling market share. Porter Analysis to comprtition through the five porter powers. From the research results it is known that the problem faced is located in thr market competition, which is derived from the substitutions namely illegal travel, that is considered detrimental to legal travel.Market Structure results show that this 71,51% CR4 falls into the category of tight oligopoly market structure, and the value of the Herfindahl-Hirscman Index (IHH) show that 1542,55 is in the category of oligopoly market. Porter Analysis results can be seen that the competitive condition in the AJDP land transportation service industry in Pekanbaru-Tembilahan are quite high. Because of the large number of companies, and also the number of unofficial or illegal travel companies.
