Pengaruh Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Terhadap Tingkat Pendidikan Anak Nelayan DI Desa Bekawan Kecamatan Mandah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This study aims to determine how is the influence of social economic conditions on the level of education of fishermen in Desa Bekawan, Kecamatab Mandah, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir . The population in this research is all family of fisherman in Desa Bekawan Kecamatan Mandah , Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir which have school age there are 676 Households (KK) spread in 2 RW. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, proportional sampling, and random sampling of 100 respondents in Desa Bekawan . Methods of data collection using documentation , questionnaire , and interview method. The analysis technique used descriptive analysis percentage and multiple regression analysis. Based on the result of the research, it is known that the socioeconomic condition influences 25,7%. It’s meaning that the socioeconomic condition is influence 25,7% to education level of fishermen’s children in Desa Bekawan Kecamatan Mandah ,Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir while the rest 74,3% is another factor such as environment, motivation, understanding / parent mindset and the willingness / desire of the child itself is very big influence the level of education of fishermen’s children in Desa Bekawan, Kecamatan Mandah,Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir.
