Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah (Suluk) Dalam Ranah Politik Lokal Desa Sontang Kecamatan Bonai Darussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Tahun 2009-2017

This topic is considered important to reviewed because involvement indication of tarekat naqsabandiyah. Moreover, this reviewed baseof phenomenal existention of tarekat naqsabandiyah in sontang village which has a high bargaining position in political activity in district orsub – district level. Referring to it, which is interesting to note why tarekat naqsabandiyah in sontang village considered as a potential political base in among local political elite in rokan hulu district ?
This research is a descriptive qualitative research by describing subject circumstances and object of research based on empirically facts. Data used is a primary and secondary data. Moreover, this research also done by non – direct observation, like just doing the approach to the resource person which is already specified or not to obtain information, collect the data as documents of sontang’s village and supporting documents as the data of election results and data of village organizational structure.
Result of this research show the engagement of tarekat naqsabandiyah in local political in sontang village emphasized the direction of this movement which is not only focus in social religion, except participate in political dynamics. Strong influence of tarekat naqsabandiyah’s organization in fact used as a political tool by the political elite in sontang village to gain power in village or wider influence, frankly this is out of line as spread principal thought which is ascethic and far from political terrestrial. Tarekat naqsabandiyah formally not yet becoming an official organization by the government , besides, the existence of tarekat naqsabandiyah in sontang village still intense so that bring out the argument that the use of tarekat is only for benefit of one or more political party, not in order paper to tightly the base member of tarekat or wider the theory.
