Aplikasi Beberapa Dosis Trichokompos Terhadap Penyakit Rebah Kecambah Oleh Fusarium Sp. Dan Pertumbuhan Bibit Cabai Merah (Capsicum Annum L.)
Chilli plants (Capsicum annum L.) is one of the horticultural plants that contain many nutritional and vitamin. The productivity of the plant in Riau is relativly low due to Fusarium sp. which infect on seedling stage. The infection cause pre and post emergence damping off. Another alternative control that is more environmentally friendly is the use of Trichoderma sp. which can be applied in the form of Trichocompost. This study aims to determine the effect of several doses of Trichocompost and get the best dose to control. The research has been conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau for three months from December to February 2019. The research was conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatment used was the dose of Trichocompost consisting of no application of Trichocompost (0 ton.ha-1), 40 g Trichocompost / 8 kg of soil (10 ton.ha-1), 80 g Trichocompost / 8 kg of soil (20 ton.ha-1), 120 g Trichocompost / 8 kg soil (30 ton.ha-1) and 160 g Trichocompost / 8 kg soil (40 ton.ha-1). The parameters observed were the number of seedling sinfected, the number of survival seedlings, seedling height, number of seedling leaves and seedling wet weight. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and followed with the Honestly Significant Difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of Trichocompost with various doses had no significant effect in reducing the number of infected seeds, the number infected of seedlings, the number of survival seedlings and the growth of chilli seeds. The dose at 80 g/seedbed tended to control Fusarium sp. disease and increase the growth of chilli seedlings.
