The problem in this research is that when walking, the speed of adjusting the feet and feet does not make contact with the ground and the pace and stride length are also slow and not optimal, which causes a lack of speed while running. This type of research is a kind of experimental research to see the effect of the form of exercise. The purpose of this research is to look at the effect of light sled / tire pull exercise on walking speed in students participating in the 100-meter athletic extra-curricular track in Riau province. The analysis was performed by t-test, on the basis of data analysis it can be concluded that there is an effect of light sled / tire training signifikan on running speed with 100-meter athletic sprint extracurricular students of the Riau Integrated Agricultural Vocational School proven by Tcount of 6,500 and Ttable 2,015. Means Tcound > Ttable at the level ɑ = 0.05.
