Meningkatkan Keamanan Data Dalam Berbagi File Menggunakan Algoritma Kriptografi Asimetris Elliptic Curve Cryptography P-521
ABSTRACT
File sharing is an activities to share or provide data access of digital data
on digital media. There are several types of file sharing, namely File Transfer
Protocol (FTP), Peer-to-peer Network, Removable Storage Media and Online File
Sharing Services. File sharing has a manner to share the file publicly or privately,
publicly means the file does not need to be protected, while privately need to be
protected securely. Cryptography is a standard method to protect a digital data.
The Commercial National Security Algorithm Suite (CNSA Suite) provided by
National Institute of Standards and Technology and National Security Agency
defines cryptographic algorithm for securing digital data. ECC P-384 is one of
CNSA Suite based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography with 384-bit key size used for
encryption and decryption process, because of the transition period to quantumresistant
cryptography algorithm, an enhancment bits of ECC P-384 is needed up
to ECC P-521. This research use ECC P-521 as the method inside the system. ECC
P-521 is used for key exchange and digital signatre, while AES-256 is used for
encrypt and decrypt a file with key pairs generated from ECC P-521 and digital
signature for authentication purposes. Name of the system in this research is Data
Secrecy System (DSS) and created into Web Application using HTML5, CSS3, and
JavaScript. The results obtained from this research is DSS can encrypt and decrypt
any type of file like systems, videos, documents, images and audios file.
