Analisis Teknis Dan Finansial Usaha Penangkapan Ikan Pada Alat Tangkap Purse Seine Di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan Air Bangis Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Provinsi Sumatera Barat

This research was conducted in April 2019 at Air Bangis Fish Landing in
West Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study was to analyze the technical
and financial aspects of purse seine fishing gear and understand the business
feasibility under purse seine operation at the Air Bangis Fish Landing in West
Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. The method used in this study is
asurvey method. Primary data collected by interviews with fishermen using the
questionnaire. The sample in this study is 50 GT purse seine boat. From the result
of trawl ring construction research, it consists of up rope, down rope, wings, body,
pockets, buoy rope, ballas rope, ring rope, bouy, ballast ring and pull rope. The
result of the business feasibility analysis indicated the BCR value obtained
was1,06, the FRR value obtained was 7%, the PPC value was 12,5 years and the
NPV value indicated the purse seine breake business even point in the 10th years
was Rp. 4,566,431,019 with an investment cost of Rp. 1,722,000,000. Therefore,
it can be concluded that this fishing catch business is feasible to be carried out and
developed.
