Gaya Bahasa Repetisi Dalam Antologi Cerpen Merah Karya Mahasiswa Angkatan 2016 B

This research aims to describe the types of repetition language styles
and meanings that appear in repetition language styles that exist in Antologi
Cerpen Merah. In this research, the writer used descriptive qualitative method.
The data in this research are in the form of words and phrases in sentences or
discourse that contain repetition language style found in Antologi Cerpen Merah.
The source of the data is the Antologi Cerpen Merah by Indonesian language and
literature education students, FKIP, Riau University published by Diandra
Creative in 2018. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation
techniques in the form of reading and taking notes. Data analysis techniques in
research carried out by identifying, classifying, analyzing, describing result, and
concluding data in the form of words and phrases in sentences or discourse that
contain the style of repetition language contained in Antologi Cerpen Merah. The
validity of the data uses source triangulation techniques. From the results of data
analysis, there are 172 repetition language style data. The data consists of 18
epizeuksis repetitions, 27 anaphora repetitions, 24 epistrofa repetitions, 1
simploke repetition, 59 mesodiplosis repetitions, 6 epanalepsis repetitions, 1
anadiplosis repetition, 11 alliteration repetitions, 16 assonance repetitions, 1
antanalaxis repetition and 8 repetition with replacement. The use of the meaning
of repetition is found, namely the use of the meaning of prohibition, affirmation,
confusion, sound, rejection, explanation, questions, work, hope, information,
place, action, circumstances and time.
