Pembangkit Listrik Memanfaatkan Penyerapan Panas Aspal Jalan Menggunakan Teknologi Termoelektrik Generator Dengan Penghantar Pelat Baja
Thermoelectric generator is a power generator that converts the difference in
temperature received by a device to produce electrical energy. This study uses a
thermoelectric module SP 1848 type. The asphalt used is the type of AC-WC with
dimension of 300 mm x 300 mm x 100 mm (pxlxt). To move the heat absorbed by the
asphalt to the thermoelectric steel plate is used where the plates are varied in depth,
namely 2 cm, 4 cm and 6 cm. On a 2 cm depth plate, the maximum power that can be
produced is 0.0065 W when solar radiation is 975 W / m2. Whereas at 4 cm and 6 cm
depth plates, the maximum power produced is 0.062 W and 0.061 W respectively
when solar radiation is 822 W / m2. The power difference between the variations in
the depth of the copper plate due to the heat inside the asphalt is longer released into
the air compared to the plate with a depth of 2 cm. With energy produced
continuously every day, it allows this research to be developed so that it can be used
massively.
