Implications of the Covid-19 Discourse on Instagram. This study aims to (1) identify and explain the types of implicatures contained in the Covid-19 discourse on Instagram. (2) Identifying and explaining the function and purpose of the implications contained in the Covid-19 discourse on Instagram. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data sources of this research are words, clauses, or sentences in disciplined photos on Instagram. Based on the data, it is concluded that there are two types of implicatures on Instagram accounts, namely, conventional implicatures and conversational implicatures. Based on the data, there are three functions of implicature, namely: assertive, directive, and expressive.
