This study describes and analyzes the form and function of the use of slang. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods, namely analyzing and describing the data found in the form of words descriptively. The data analysis technique in this research identifies, classifies, selects, analyzes, presents data, and concludes. The technique of collecting data is by means of observation (see and note). The data in this study are language units in the form of words or sentences in the form and function of slang. The data sources of this research were taken from (1) social media: youtube channel MAYISEE episode of the story of changing gallons. (2) direct recording (3) print media: Riaupos newspaper in the Zetizen rubric of the 11 February 2020, 24 February 2020 and 23 August 2020 editions.
