Pengembangan Materi Ajar Menulis Teks Deskripsi Melalui Strategi Fishbone Diagram Untuk SMP Negeri Di Kota Dumai
This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of the teaching material module in writing descriptive texts for the junior high school level. The approach used in this research is research and development (R and D). The method used is the research and development method (R and D) according to Sugiyono, namely there are 10 steps that must be taken in R & D research, namely: (1) Potentials and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) use trial, (9) product revision, and (10) mass production. The test subjects in this study were conducted on students at SMP Negeri 6 Dumai. Students who became respondents were class VIII students as many as 34 students. The data in this study were taken by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. Sources of data in this study are the results of interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The data in this study were analyzed by using a questionnaire calculation, namely using a Likert scale. Based on research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the Dumai Kotaku teaching material module is very effective to be used as teaching material in schools for junior high school students. It can be seen from the results of the validation assessment by lecturers and teachers, as well as the assessment by students and the results of limited trials for students who get the final score in the very good category. And the results of the correlation between student assessments and the results of limited trials to students get correlated results.
