Analisis Keterampilan Berpidato Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 188 Pekanbaru

This research is motivated by, Skills are abilities and capacities obtained through deliberate, systematic, and continuous efforts to smoothly and adaptively carry out complex activities or work functions that involve ideas (cognitive skills), things (technical skills), and people (interpersonal skills. Skills can be trained so that they are able to do something, without training and the process of sharpening the mind, these thoughts will not be able to produce a skill because skills are not talents that can be obtained without an intensive learning process. and is an advantage that has been given since birth. One type of speaking skills is a speech. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. This research was conducted on 80 students at SD Negeri 188 Pekanbaru. The instrument used to collect data was a student assessment sheet test containing indicators in speech. The results of this study indicate that students who get the very skilled category are 17.05%. In the skilled category as much as 31.25%. In the sufficiently skilled category as much as 50%. Generally, students' speech skills are in the skilled category with an average score of 78.05.
