Penerapan Metode Pemodelan Dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Teks Eksposisi Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Ukui
The application of modeling methods provides opportunities for students to practice the specific skills learned in class through modeling. This study aims to determine the category of the ability to write an exposition text of the pretest and posttest results of the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Ukui, to find out whether the categories of the ability to write an exposition text of the pretest and posttest results of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Ukui according to gender, to know the application of modeling methods In learning to write exposition text for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Ukui, knowing whether the category of the ability to write exposition text on the pretest and posttest results of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Ukui is the same. The research method is one group pretest-postest experiment. The data collection technique is an essay test. The data were analyzed using parametric inferential statistics. The results showed that the post-test results were higher than the pre-test results, there was no significant difference in the ability to write exposition text based on gender. This can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest which increased significantly from before being treated and after being given treatment.
