Mill Study Case: Pengaruh Parameter-Parameter Pemasakan Terhadap Viskositas Pre-O2 Dissolving Pulp
ABSTRACT
Analyzing the influence of cooking parameters on quality parameter pre-O2
viscosity is one of the important endeavors in order to increase dissolving pulp
production grade in PT RAPP. The purpose of this research was to understand
the effect of cooking parameters (H-Factor, cooking temperature, cooking time,
equalizing temperature, HWL add volume) on quality parameter like dissolving
pulp viscosity. There are many derivative factors which also influential besides HFactor.
This research was conducted with study case approach based on tracing
the root causes of exisiting problems, also the correlation between the parameters.
In this research, lowest drop of pre-O2 viscosity trend is observed at Fiberline 1
during February 2021. From all cases, be discovered that washing stop, high
HWL add volume, high temperature MP steam, delay discharge, and chennelling
become the finding in study case. Afterwards, the regression approach is
conducted, found that if the higher cooking parameter (H-Factor, cooking
temperature, cooking time, equalizing temperature, HWL add volume), then the
viscosity pre-O2 dissolving pulp will be low and vice versa. Pareto analysis is
conducted indicates that H-Factor dan HWL add volume become the most
influence to the viscosity pre-O2 dissolving pulp, with a percentage of 44% and
38%, respectively.
