Dependence on the selling price of oil palm fresh fruit bunches occurs in every area that
does not have the ability to manage their potential. To overcome this problem, many
empowerment concepts have been applied as happened in Sako Margasari Village. Therefore, to
find out the empowerment program, research needs to be carried out using descriptive
qualitative methods. This research has been carried out and resulted in the findings that
empowerment in the village has not run optimally because the existing conditions in the village
do not support the existing empowerment, seen from the availability of raw materials and
community participation which is less than the result that the community has not yet arrived at
managing the knowledge gained independently. The need for the involvement of the village
community from planning to implementation of activities and coordination from the empowering
party on a regular basis after the training and knowledge transfer is carried out.
