Pengalaman Komunikasi Jamaah Bermanhaj Salaf Terhadap Praktek Riba Di Kota Pekanbaru ( Studi Fenomenologi Praktek Riba Sebelum Hijrah )

Riba is a system in which almost every economic authority has riba transactions, whether it is called tax or interest.Riba is a bad system and can destroy our lives. People who engage in riba transactions because they want a creative economy that can improve their economy for the better through credit or riba transactions. This will, of course, cause them to feel fear in their hearts, making them uneasy in life.The purpose of this research is to find out what motives are behind the salaf congregation to leave the practice of riba; to know the communication experience of the salaf congregation during the practice of riba,to find out their meaning of the practice of riba in Pekanbaru and to find out the impact of riba that has been experienced in the life of salaf congregation during their practices of riba. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach that seeks a deep understanding and meaning of the phenomenon that occurred. The data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, non-participant observation and documentation. This research was based on the salaf congregation who engage in riba transactions and their life problems.This study used the interactive model data analysis technique of Huberman and Miles. This technique is through data reduction or data presentation and finally, namely drawing conclusions or verifying data in the form of narratives. This writing also uses data validity techniques with lengthening and triangulationof participation.
Based on the results of this study, Manhaj salaf relies on the Al-qur’an and As-Sunnah, where the words only come from Allah through Al-qur’an. They follow the path of life of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihiwasallam and salafushsholih. What the prophet and salafushsholih did not do related to religious matters, was not made by the salafy. Riba is strongly opposed in the Al-qur’an so that whatever form of riba is, it is completely avoided and there is no tolerance or exception. Riba transactions have many unpleasant motives and experiences. The motive is influenced by because motive and in-order to motive. As for this experience, it includes fear in the soul through dreams of the torments of hell, not getting peace of life and disaster always approaching. The meaning of riba in Pekanbaru is due to a high consumptive lifestyle, a process of moving to get a high life feasibility and lifestyle, and it can damage a person's economy. This can cause the impact of riba in the form of making a stingy soul and frequent stress, a broken and easily temperamental family, being a bad and greedy person to become involved as loan sharks, and relationships with neighbors are not getting along.
