Dampak Tumpahan Minyak Terhadap Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Nelayan Bunsur Di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted on 28 September - 6 October 2020, in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This study was conducted to determine the socioeconomic characteristics of fishermen and the impact of oil spills on the economic and social conditions of Bunsur fishing communities in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The method used is the survey method by conducting direct research using questionnaires. To find out the economic impact using data analysis paired t-Test and Chi-square test to know the impact of fishermen's economic condition with fishermen's social conditions, while to know the social impact using the analysis of livelihood system livelihood system, where all the number of fishermen become respondents.
The results showed that the oil spill in the water had an impact on Bunsur fishermen, both from economic and social conditions. The decrease in catches has caused fishermen's income to decline in the last five years, so indirectly the social conditions of fishermen are also affected. Based on research that has been done using livelihood system, Bunsur fishing community implements a diversification system that is looking for other alternatives namely offfisheries or onfisheries as a fulfillment of needs when the old livelihood is not possible to keep done.
