Pemanfaatan Posyandu Lansia Di Kampung Berumbung Baru Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak

Healthy Living is the dream of all people and the rights of every citizen in
achieving prosperity in life. Elderly Posyandu is the center of community
activities in efforts to provide health services to the elderly. This elderly Posyandu
is located at the village level within the clinic. The use of the elderly Posyandu in
the village of Dayun, Siak. Is still low, see from the interest of the elderly in
participating in the activities at the Posyandu for the elderly. This research is to
get in depth information about the role of elderly participants in utilizing the
elderly Posyandu in the Dayun Village Kabupaten Siak. This research uses
descriptive qualitative method. To obtain comprehensive data, the informants in
this study were those from the village midwife, elderly participants who were
active and not active in the elderly posyandu, and posyandu cadres. Data
collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and documentation
which are assisted with supporting instruments in the form of observation
guidelines and interview guidelines. The sampling technique used was purposive
sampling or sample aiming. Testing data validity / validity is done by
triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used is the Axial Coding
analysis in which the data was previously coded based on keywords after reading
the transcript slowly and thoroughly. The resuits of this study indicate that for the
implementation of the elderly Posyandu activities it has run smoothly, the
facilities and infrastructure are quite good,and the knowledge of the elderly
themselves is also good enough. However, the obstacles to the presence and
participation of elderly participants are still low in a year for each month.Lack of
funds for the implementation of activities in Posyandu so that efforts are made
with the use of cash. The participation / presence of the elderly is influenced by
the location of the elderly's house with Posyandu. And the influence of the attitude
of the elderly towards the health of the elderly's illness that is felt by the elderly.
