The. Management of electrical loads plays an important role so that energy use can be efficient. To reduce the energy bill of residential consumers, 2 scenarios can be adopted. First, replacing the high wattage electrical load with a lower one, and second, controlling the length of the load "state". Therefore, the focus of this thesis is to design and implement IoT switches using NodeMCU, Arduino, and Blynk on electricity bills in Indonesia. The main components of the IoT switch used in this thesis are NodeMCU and Relay, while Blynk and Arduino IDE 1.8.5 are implemented as software. The IoT switch is also designed to be able to operate from an Android-based smartphone. The test was carried out at four different locations in the Pekanbaru area, and from the test results, the IoT system prototype can be controlled remotely using an application on a smartphone by pressing the switch button on the application. Blynk.. IoT Switch is designed to have an on-off timer. With this feature, the user can set the on and off time so that the destined load can be controlled remotely using an android smartphone, so that there is no more active load during unnecessary conditions and times. Control time is greatly influenced by Internet speed from Smartphone to NodeMCU.
