Hubungan Pengetahuan Keluarga Balita Tentang Covid-19 Terhadap Pemanfaatan Pelayanan Kesehatan Selama Masa Pandemi
One of the impacts of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) is
the decline in visits and utilization of toddler health services by families due to
family worries and fears about COVID-19 and knowledge about COVID-19 is an
important factor in the utilization of health services during the pandemic. The
purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family knowledge
of children under five about COVID-19 on the use of health services during the
pandemic. Methods : This study uses a descriptive correlation research design
with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 73 families of
children under five who live in the working area of Payung Sekaki Health Center
based on inclusion criteria determined by purposive sampling technique. The
measuring instrument used is a basic knowledge questionnaire about COVID-19
which consists of 10 questions that have passed the validity and reliability test.
Results : the results of the analysis showed that the majority of the knowledge of
the families of children under five were in the poor category, namely 38 (52.1%)
respondents, and the majority of respondents using health services, namely 39
(53.4%) respondents. The Test analysis chi square between the variables of
family knowledge of toddlers about COVID-19 on the use of health services
during the pandemic, obtained value = 0.531 with = 0.05. Conclusion: The results
showed that the value ρ>α such that Ho failed, then there is no relationship
between the knowledge of the family who COVID-19 on the utilization of health
services during a pandemic.
