ABSTRACT
Chicken eggs are incubated by their parents until they hatch within 21 days. The incubation process is carried out naturally or artificially. The natural process is the process of incubating the eggs by being incubated by the mother until they hatch without human intervention, while the artificial process is the incubation process that relies on human equipment, namely the chicken egg incubator. Using an incubator can increase the number of eggs hatched. Instability of temperature and humidity as well as egg embryos sticking to the eggshell membrane in the process of incubating chicken eggs which results in a reduced number of egg hatching. The goal of this final project is to create an automatic chicken egg incubator that can keep the temperature and humidity stable and can move the egg container automatically in order to meet the demands of the breeders. In an egg incubator, temperature and humidity are values that must be kept stable. Hatching success depends on the incubator's ability to maintain temperature and humidity conditions. Failure in hatching can occur if there are conditions that are more than or less than the desired conditions. In addition, improper operation of the incubator by the operator can also cause failure. Therefore, it is necessary to design an egg incubator that can maintain the temperature and humidity inside so that the hatching process takes place optimally. Temperature control in the incubator with the desired temperature value of 38°C, and humidity control to maintain humidity at a value of 55% - 65%. Data sent from Arduino in the form of temperature and humidity, is received and displayed on the 16x2 LCD screen.
