ACL injury is one of the most common injuries in young and active individuals and ranks second after back pain. ACL injury has a long-term negative impact on the instability of the knee joint of sufferers consisting of aspects of quality of life, functional ability, and psychology. To evaluate psychological factors in patients with ACL injury, several measurement tools have been developed and validated. Among them, the Tampa scale of kinesiophobia (TSK) is used to assess fear of re-injury, pain, or movement in patients with ACL injury. The aim of this research is to assess the TSK questionnaire validity and reliability in Indonesian-speaking patients after ACL injury. This search was conducted in a cohort study method at Arifin Ahmad Hospital, Riau Province from June to August 2024. Patient data was taken from medical records and the validity and reliability of the TSK questionnaire were measured subjectively via Google Form. A total of 65 post-ACL injury patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in this study. Construct validity was considered good, because the fifth hypothesis formulated regarding related (convergent validity) and unrelated (discriminant validity) constructs was proven. Cronbach's alpha of 0.780 indicated good internal consistency of the total TSK score, and the intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.777 indicated good test-retest reliability.
