Hubungan Faktor Risiko Dengan Kejadian Pedikulosis Kapitis Di Pesantren Al-Muslimun Kecamatan Sekijang Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau
Pediculosis capitis is a skin disease caused by infestation of pediculus humanus var capitis. This infestation is caused by various risk factors, namely gender, age, education, hair characteristics based on length and shape, frequency of washing hair, use of accessories and sharing beds and body mass index. One of the places at risk of pediculosis is Islamic boarding schools because they have dense residential areas, lack of health facilities and knowledge about head lice. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between risk factors and the incidence of pediculosis capitis at the Al-Muslimun Islamic Boarding School, Pelalawan Regency. This research used an observational analytical method with a cross sectional design which was conducted from January to October 2024.
