Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Game Based Learning Menggunakan Media Wordwall Pada Materi Pemanasan Global Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X Sma Al Huda Pekanbaru
Physics studies the relationship between physics concepts and the development of science and technology, along with its application in everyday life. Therefore, physics lessons are very important to be taught in schools. The implementation of physics learning can be said to be effective if students are able to obtain final results in accordance with learning objectives, but in reality not all students are able to achieve learning outcomes as expected. The physics learning process is generally still carried out conventionally, monotonously, teacher-centered, and the lack of interesting learning support media used, resulting in students' interest in learning decreasing which ultimately affects students' understanding and learning outcomes. The Game Based Learning learning model uses wordwall media, this is one of the models and interactive media that can be applied in learning.
This study aims to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru after the application of the game based learning model using wordwall educational game media on global warming material. The benefits of this study are as a reference in the application of the Game Based Learning model using wordwall educational game media in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes that can be felt by students, teachers, schools, and other researchers. This learning model will help students gain learning knowledge independently, and allow students to be more interested in learning because of the game features that can be played by students after obtaining the learning information presented.
The type of research used is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest only control group design. The sample used was class XA as the control class and class XB as the experimental class, with a total sample of 64 students. The data collection instrument used was 10 objective test questions based on the cognitive domain of Bloom's taxonomy. The results of the data obtained were processed using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques.
Based on the descriptive analysis, the cognitive learning outcomes of the experimental class were better than the control class. Class XB as the

experimental class obtained an average cognitive learning outcome of 70.9 with a good category, while class XA as the control class with an average cognitive learning outcome value obtained of 62.3 with a sufficient category. In the inferential analysis, the normality test and homogeneity test of the two classes carried out obtained results that both were normally distributed and the data variance was homogeneous. The hypothesis test conducted obtained results that there was a significant difference in cognitive learning outcomes between classes that implemented the Game Based Learning learning model using Wordwall educational media with conventional learning.
Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that through this application, it can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes by implementing the game based learning model using wordwall media on global warming material.
