Representasi Pendidikan Anak Jalanan Di Indonesia Dalam Film Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)
Education is one of internal necessity for human. Significant of education make it as indicator nation progress. The condition of education Indonesia not be spread evenly totality yet, so must get serious attention. Drama comedy movie with the title “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)” tell a lot about street children education. So, this research objective for (1) Knows the representation of Indonesian street children education in “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)” movies, (2) Knows the spectator opinion to look Indonesian street children education in “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)” movies.
This research use qualitative method with film classic theory by Andre Bazin and analized with semiotics method by Roland Barthes. The collect of data’s technique that used by monitoring about mise-en-scene “Alangkah Lucunya (Negeri Ini)” movies, the documentation was gotten is in the form of statements that was told by production house, movie watchers in print media, internet media, behind the scene, and interview spectators who have experience with street children use Focus Group Discussion.
Result of this research indicate that the representation street children education conspicous by movies is; the first, street children live in bad place, accident sensitive, and crime; their appearance adjust with operation district, but cake with dirt; skill to read, to write, count, religion knowledge is weakest and less; they often to do chaos and rough; their job have high risk. The second, spectator opinion to look this film approriate with reality. Moral messages have told by film is strong, street children life still marginal, especially for education. The psychological condition of street children suppressed, cause be they have bad behaviour. Their live nearest with violence, crime and unhealth. Education is one of the best solution for street children.
