Kaji Eksperimental Performansi Mesin Pendingin Tipe Chiller Untuk Cold Storage Dan Indoor Menggunakan Ethylene Glycol Coolant

Refrigeration is a requirement now a day especially for urban society. Refrigeration can be domestic refrigerator, cold storage, cooling vegetables, fruits, meat, beverage etc. Vapor compression refrigeration system also used in HVAC applications. Cooling machine is used to cold the ethylene glycol coolant at the refrigeration box, and ethylene glycol coolant is media that is used for absorbing heat that is available at cold storage and indoor. Using experimental method by taking pressure data and temperature.
Test circulated to cold storage with COP value of 2,80, on testing circulated to the indoor COP value of 5,12, the test is circulated to the indoor with 1000 Watt load with COP value of 5,19, and the testing is circulated to the cold storage and indoor simultaneously COP value of 3,66. Performance cooling machine chiller type is influenced by the load, for loads that is greater will affect the compressor work so that the pressure on the compressor will increase, COP value increases if the inlet pressure is getting higher and pressure at outlet compressor is getting lower, so at the other hand COP value is getting lower if the inlet pressure of the compressor is low and outlet compressor pressure is high.
