Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobenthos Pada Hutan Mangrove Di Desa Mengkapan Kecamatan Sungai Apit Provinsi Riau

This research was conducted in January – February 2017. This research aims to determine the structure of macrozoobenthos communities in the mangrove forest in Mengkapan Village, Sungai Apit Riau Province include: macrozoobenthos species, density, diversity, dominance, uniformity and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos. The method used in this research was survey method. Sample of sediment were collected from 3 stations. Sampling of macrozoobenthos was carried by using 1m x 1m plot. The analysis and identification conducted in marine biology laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, University of Riau Pekanbaru. The result showed that there were 3 classes of macrozoobenthos: gastropod, bivalvia, and crustacean. The macrozoobenthos abundance varied from 58.3 - 90 ind/m2. The highest relative abundance at station 1 was species Nerita sp (34.7%), at station 2 was species Aurisfelis Cassidula (17.2%), and Station 3 was species Telescopium telescopium (22.3%). Diversity index (H’) of all stations mangrove forest was 2.08-2.21, dominance index (C) of all stations mangrove forest was 0.23-0.26, uniformity index (E) of all stations mangrove forest was 0.45-0.50 and and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos (Id) was 1.02-1.05 (agregated).
