Sensitivitas Ekstrak Daun Rhizophora Sp. Terhadap Bakteri Edwardsiella Tarda
The research was conducted in July until November 2016 in the Laboratory of Parasites and Fish Disease Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau, Integrated Chemical Laboratory the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science of Health Muhammadiyah University of Riau and Fish Quarantine Station, Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Products class I Pekanbaru. The purpose of study was to determine the ability of Rhizophora sp. leaf extract can inhibit the growth of bacteria E. tarda and know the toxicity of Rhizophora sp. leaf extract against tilapia, the LD50 test conducted by immersion for 24 hours. Sensitivity test using the method of Kirby bauer disc with dose used were 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%, and control (novobiocin and etanol 96%). The result showed that the Rhizophora sp. leaf extract can inhibit the growth of bacteria E. tarda to a dose of 20% with an average of 7,00 mm zone of inhibition. MIC test showed a dose of 18% average number of colonies of bacteria as much as 227,33 x 108 CFU /mL is able to inhibit the growth of bacteria E. tarda. Dose LD50 leaf extract Rhizophora sp. against tilapia by immersion for 24 hours is on 19,03% (1903 ppm).
