Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourism park is one of the alternative tourism spots in the
city of Pekanbaru which is crowded with visitors, for that we need to know the
economic value of this tourist park. The purpose of this research is to explore the
economic value of Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourism park in the city of Pekanbaru and to
see the effect of travel cost, distance traveled and income on the number of visits to
Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourism park. The population in this study as many as 6844
people visited the Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourist park in the city of Pekanbaru in 2018.
The sampling technique in this study the accidental sampling that is the people found
at the tourist park location. The samples taken were 44 people. Data analysis
methods used are descriptive and quantitative. Quantitative methods use multiple
linear regression equations based on questionnaires
Based on the results of an economic calculation using the travel cost method,
the economic value of Kampoeng Rbbit’s tourist park is Rp902.477.216,00,-. Of the
three variables namely the cost of travel, distance travelled and income all have an
influence on the number of visits to yhe Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourism park. The
variable cost of the travel and distance has a significant negative effect on the
number of visits while the income variable has a positive effect. Kampoeng Rabbit’s
tourist park needs to do the development of promotions and additional facilities to
increase the number of visitors who will travel to this Kampoeng Rabbit’s tourist
park.
