Perencanaan Komunikasi Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Riau Dalam Menangani Penyebaran Covid-19 Di Pekanbaru

The world was shocked by the outbreak of a new virus, the name of the disease as Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). Pekanbaru City is one of the cities that has no influence and influence in the spread of Covid-19. The complexity of the disaster problem of the Covid-19 outbreak requires an arrangement or careful planning in handling it, so that it can be carried out in a directed and integrated manner. The research objective was to explain how BPBD communication planning in the Covid-19 outbreak. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using Assifi and French communication planning models.
The results of this study are below, first, to determine the problems that solve the problems that are in the handling of COVID-19 in Pekanbaru which involve regional government units (BPBD, Dinkes, and the task force to accelerate the handling of covid-19). Second, the audience is an early stage that will determine the direction and goals of planning. Third, the Government selects the media according to the needs or abilities of the community. Fourth, a process that measures the results of a healthy city program based on the targets or goals achieved and has been formulated since the commencement of the activity / program. The Riau Provincial Government carries out various instructions to all related agencies based on regulations or circular letters from the central government so that a regulation is formed that carries out their respective duties and roles. Consists of a Task Force Team for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 as the main actor in the field to serve and synergize with various related government sectors so that everything is related to one another.
