“Hubungan Cooking Temperature Dan Pemakaian Aa Charge Pada Jenis Produksi Pulp Kraft”
ABSTRACT
One of the most important processes in the pulping process is the ripening process of
the chip chips. This process is the initial stage of pulping. The purpose of this cooking
is to separate cellulose and hemicellulose from lignin and extractive substances. In
the process of cooking chips into pulp in the superbatch digester unit, there are
several things that need to be considered in order to produce good pulp and more
efficient use of alkalis, including the cooking temperature which must be controlled
and must not exceed the specified target, namely 158oC - 161oC and the use of
alkalis that must be used. maintained between 13 tonnes / cook - 14 tonnes / cook.
Excessive use of alkalis will cause active alkalis no longer selectively dissolve lignin
but will also attack cellulose. Meanwhile, if the use of white liquour is less than the
required amount, it will cause the chips to not cook or not reach the target kappa
number. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the alkali used and the chip
cooking temperature.
