Efektivitas Komunikasi Aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meeting Sebagai Media Pembelajaran E-Learning Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Mahasiswa Fisip Unri

Zoom Cloud Meeting isn't only a complementary application for the learning
process, but has been transformed as the best solution so that it can be used as a way
to achieve effective learning in this pandemic. One of the academic community users
of Zoom Cloud Meeting application is the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences
(FISIP) Riau University This application is used as e-learning during the Covid-19
pandemic. The theory used in this research are the effectiveness of communication as
the main theories and new media as a supporting of the theory. The purpose of this
research is to find out how much the effectiveness of communication of FISIP
students in Riau University through zoom cloud meeting application as an e-learning
media during the covid-19 pandemic.
This research uses descriptive quantitative research method, with data
collection technique that is through the dissemination of questionnaires online to
students of FISIP Riau University batch 2018, 2019 and 2020 as a population with a
sample number of 97 determined through random sampling techniques. Data analysis
techniques in this study use descriptive statistical techniques.
The results showed that the effectiveness of communication using Zoom Cloud
Meeting application as an E-Learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic in FISIP
UNRI students is considered effective. seen from receiver or user indicators with an
average of 3.63, content with an average of 3.97, media with an average of 3.72,
formats with an average of 3.75, source sources with an average of 4.01 and and
timing agreement with an average of 3.92. So the conclusion obtained by using the
average formula of all indicators is 3.83 which is included in the effective scale
range. This shows that Zoom Cloud Meeting Application is an effective media as an
e-learning learning media during the covid-19 pandemic in FISIP students of Riau
University.
