ABSTRACT
Rose ornamental plants have economic value benefits, such as raw materials for perfumes, medicines and cosmetics. In general, the propagation of rose plants is by cuttings, but the success rate is relatively low due to the delay in the root development of the cuttings. The addition of exogenous hormones in the form of natural growth regulators (ZPT) is needed to overcome obstacles to the root can be overcome with biological organic fertilizers (POH). This study aims to produce higher-quality rose plants (Rosa hybrida L.) from cuttings by immersing the cuttings in natural ZPT and fertilizing them with biological organic fertilizers. The study was conducted as a 3 x 4 completely randomized design factorial experiment with three replications. The first factor was natural ZPT: 50% concentration of coconut water, 75% concentration of onion filtrate, and 25% concentration of bean sprout filtrate. The second factor is the dose of POH: without POH, POH 0.5 recommendations, POH 1.0 recommendations, and POH 1.5 recommendations. The observed variables consisted of: the percentage of live plants, time of first shoot appearance, shoot length, stem diameter, time of first flower bud appearance, time of first flower bloom, number of flowers per plant, size of flower stalk, flower diameter, number of leaves per plant, age first harvest. Observational data were analyzed for diversity and tested further with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the time for shoots to appear, the time for flower buds to bloom, the time to bloom, the number of flowers per plant and the number of leaves per plant were influenced by the interaction between natural ZPT types and POH doses. Flower stalk length and flower diameter are influenced by various natural ZPT factors, the percentage of living plants, shoot length, stem diameter, flower stalk length, flower diameter and flower harvest age are influenced by POH factors. Growth and yield of rose plants are of better quality if the cuttings are soaked in ZPT 75% shallot filtrate fertilized with POH at a dose of 0.5 or bean sprouts filtrate 25% fertilized with POH 1.0 recommendation
