Penerapan Model Learning Cycle 6e Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Hidrokarbon Di Kelas X Sma Negeri 3 Pekanbaru
Experimental research with a pretest-posttest design to know the increasing of students’ learning result in hydrocarbon with the application of the Learning Cycle 6E model has been done in the first graders of SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru on April 25th to June 8th, 2012. From the nine classes of population are taken two homogeneous classes as samples, they are X.7 as control class which is using conventional learning and X.8 as experiment class which is given the application of Learning Cycle 6E model. Sampling technique is the technique of the test, in the form of pretest and posttest. Normality of the data that has been collected was analyzed using the chi squared test. The results of tests of homogeneity were tested using t-test two point of views that had previously been tested with F-test so homogeneous sample was acquired, whereas the pretest-posttest difference of the two samples were analyzed using t-test one point of view aimed to test the hypothesis. Based on the statistical calculation with df = 56 and α = 0,05, it was acquired that t-value > t-table (1,793 > 1,671) so it can be concluded that the application of the Learning Cycle 6E model can increase students’ learning result in hydrocarbon at first grade of SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru with an influence of 5,43%.
