Analisis Keberhasilan Benchmarking (Studi Kasus Pada SMKN 1 Kota Pekanbaru)
This study aimed to analyze the succes of benchmarking implmentation at SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This study highlighted three focuses : school information systems, school curriculum, and school physical environment.
This is a qualitative research. Data is collected using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data validity is tested by trianggulation and member checking.
The results of this study indicated that : (1) One of the main ways through a benchmarking study visits to school that seem to be more superior in the field of information systems school, school curriculum, and the physical environment of the school that takes the changes in school culture and performance inprovement. (3) The inplementation process of benchmarking in SMK Negeri 1 Pekanbaru begin at th stage of identification and documentation, analysis, planing and implementation at information systems school, school curriculum, and the physical environment of the school.
