Penggunaan Instagram @bujangdarapku Sebagai Media Promosi Pemilihan Bujang Dara Kota Pekanbaru
Instagram usage based on pers broadcast result accepted by CNNIndoensia.com instagram has 22nd billion as active user permonth of instagram. The popularity of instagram is one of the reasons of bujang dara pekanbaru association to use Instagram as a promotional tool in selection of bujang dara pekanbaru in hopes of increasing participant of Bujang Dara Pekanbaru in every year. Instagram as usual is used as bisnis online shop promotion or increasing personal popularity such as selebgram but there are some people use that uses instagram as promotion media of an organization . the purpose of this research was determining Instagram usage as a promotional media in selection of bujang dara pekanbaru.
This research used qualitative methode by descriptive approach. Informan of this research is one person as Public Relation of Bujang Dara Pekanbaru association also as admin of @bujangdarapku and one person as Department of tourism Pekanbaru ,one person as Dara Pekanbaru 2016th, one person as Finalist of Bujang Pekanbaru 2014th and one of @bujangdarapku followers who were selected by using purposive technique. Data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation.
The result of research showed that Instagram account @bujangdarapku doing some basic aspects of communication using Instagram, 6 of the 7c Framework, context that is concern about caption and interesting greetings languange such as puan and cik puan and content is about how to make photos and videos can attract Instagram user and determine the target. Connection provide convenience acces to users to get information because it connected to certain hastag such as #budarpku, #bujangdarapku so followers can acces the informastion more easily . communication shows a positive interaction between admins and followers through comment coloumn and direct message of @bujangdarapku, while commerce encourage cooperation that built benefit for bujang dara pekanbaru, @bujangdarapku will uploaded event sponsor photos And sponsor. Meanwhile community dissemminate information personal and broadly through finalist, participant , and the winner of bujang dara kota pekanbaru although they don't invite community to dissemminate information about bujang dara kota pekanbaru activities . In this case customazation is not fulfilled by @bujangdarapku instagram account because this theory more proper to service website usage .
