Hubungan Konsentrasi Nitrat, Fosfat Dan Silikat Dengan Kelimpahan Diatom Planktonik Di Perairan Kelurahan Pangkalan Sesai Dumai Provinsi Riau
This research was conducted in May 2018 to analysis concentrations of nitrate, phosphate and silicate and to analysis abundance of planktonic diatom and views relations of nitrate, phosphate and silicate concentrations to abundance planktonic diatom. The diatom samples were taken from four (4) stasions and analysis the diatom samples at Marine Biology Laboratory and analysis the samples of nitrate, phosphate and silicate at Marine Chemistry Laboratory, Fisheries and Marine Faculty University of Riau. The result of the research is, concentrations of nitrate about 0.0367 – 0.0506 mg/l, , concentrations of phosphate about 0.0840 – 0.1397 mg/l and, concentrations of silicate about 0.0502 – 0.0692 mg/L. Planktonic diatom has found about 9 (nine) of genus that is Coscinodiscus, Thalassiosira, Istmia, Leptocylindrus, Melosira, Nitzchia, Sthephanopyxis, Cylindroteca, Synedra. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, the value of the physical correlation (R) is 0.667, the means that relations among concentrations of nitrate, phosphate and silicate in diatoms is medium. The value of R Square (R2) is 0.444 that means the percentage from the variable nitrate, phosphate and silicate to diatoms is 44.4% and impact of other factors is about 55.6%.
