Pengaruh Sanitasi Lingkungan Dan Personal Hygiene Terhadap Keberadaan Bakteri Escherichia Coli Pada Makanan Pasien Rawat Inap Di Instalasi Gizi Rsud Bangkinang

Kampar Regency is one of the regencies in Riau Province that is nicknamed Bumi Sari Madu and has the capital city of Bangkinang also known as Serambih Mecca in Riau Province. The area of Kampar Regency is approximately 1,128,928 hectares, which is located between 01000 '40 "North Latitude to 00027 '00" South Latitude and 100028 '30 "- 101014 '40" East Longitude. This research was conducted in Regional General Hospital Bangkinang. Location Selection is due to the low level of environmental sanitation and personal hygiene in food handlers. This research began in November 2018 to April 2019. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of environmental sanitation, handlers personal hygiene, economic factors and description of handlers social factors on the presence of Escherichia coli in the Nutrition Installation of Bangkinang Regional Public Hospital. The research approach used in this study is quantitative and survey methods. The population in this study were all food handlers at the Nutrition Installation in Bangkinang Regional Public Hospital as many as 24 people and samples (food samples) of 36 samples. The type of data used in this study is quantitative obtained from laboratory results, questionnaires, observations and, interviews, while data sources are obtained from primary and secondary data. Based on Chi-Square statistical test, the p value is smaller than alpha, meaning that there is a significant influence on environmental sanitation, personal hygiene on the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in the food of inpatients at the Nutrition Installation of Regional Public Hospital Bangkinang indicated by P value 0.002 and 0.021, while the economic factor of the handover obtained p value greater than alpha value means that there is no significant effect on the presence of Escherichia coli bacteria in the food of inpatients at the Nutrition Installation of Regional Public Hospital Bangkinang indicated by P value 0.106. It is recommended that there is a need for environmental sanitation supervision and personal hygiene of food handlers and socialization training related to environmental sanitation and food handlers personal hygiene prior to carrying out their duties.
