Pengaruh Metode Karyawisata Terhadap Kesadaran Sejarah Pada Siswa Kelas XI Di SMAN 1 Koto Gasib Kabupaten Siak

SMA N 1 Koto Gasib is a public high school based on general education, with ownership status by the Riau Provincial Government which was established on January 5, 1999 with the Decree of Establishment Number 267/HK/KPTS/2012. This study aims (1) to determine the application of the field trip method to class XI students and (2) to find out how much influence the field trip method has on historical awareness in class XI students at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib. The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. Using simple linear regression analysis. The independent variable is the field trip method and the dependent variable is the students' historical awareness. The results obtained showed that the null hypothesis (Ho) which stated that the field trip method had no significant effect on students' historical awareness was "rejected" while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which stated that the field trip method had a significant effect on historical awareness was accepted. This is evidenced by R square showing the coefficient of determination of 0.653, meaning that the percentage of the influence of the field trip method variable on historical awareness is 65.3%. The t count obtained is 2,419 with a significance of 0.000. Where t count is more than t table which is 2,024. Because the value of t count > t table (2,419 > 2,024) and significance < 0.05, Ho is rejected. Therefore, the results of what the author has researched are that at SMAN 1 Koto Gasib school field trip activities have an effect on awareness in class XI students.
