Penggunaan Media Komik Online Bertema Pahlawan Indonesia Dengan Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Di Kelas XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru

History learning activities tend to be monotonous and unpleasant so that students
become less active, less enthusiastic and less motivated when studying history. This
happens due to the lack of teacher creativity and innovation in determining and using
interesting learning models and media so that students are motivated to study history.
The existence of the demands of the times also makes teachers must be able to utilize
technology in the learning process of history such as utilizing technology in
developing fun learning models and media. Based on this, this research was
conducted with the aim of increasing student motivation in history subjects by using
online comic media with the theme of Indonesian heroes with the numbered heads
together model. This study used a class action research method or PTK with research
subjects namely students of class XI IPS 1 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Based on the results
of the study, it was shown that the learning activity of students in cycle 1 was 59.64%,
then it increased in cycle 2 to 82.85% and reached the specified success indicator,
namely 60%. Then the learning motivation of students in cycle 1 obtained an average
percentage of 60.06% and increased in cycle 2 to 83.98% and achieved the specified
success indicator of 75%. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the use
of online comic media with the theme of Indonesian heroes with the numbered head
together model could increase students' motivation to learn history at SMAN 12
Pekanbaru.
