Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) Pada Siswa Kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Koto Gasib
Observation results at SMA Negeri 1 Koto Gasib show that student
learning outcomes in the history learning process are not yet optimal, so that
student learning outcomes become optimal need to be addressed immediately so
that the objectives of learning history can be carried out properly, a learning
model that is suitable for the purpose is used, namely the cooperative learning
model type Student Team-Achievement Divisions (STAD) for class XI IPS students
at SMA Negeri 1 Koto Gasib. This study uses Classroom Action Research namely
planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research instrument
used was the Learning Implementation Plan as a learning tool and data collection
instrument, namely teacher, student and test observation sheets. In analyzing the
data obtained from observations of teacher and student activities by calculating
the activities carried out by teachers and students. The results of using the Student
Teams -Achievement (STAD) type cooperative learning model experienced an
increase in each cycle, in cycle I the average student score was 56.78 with the
number of students who completed 6 and cycle II increased with an average of
85.71 with the number of students which completed 25 students.
