Pemberian Kombinasi Pupuk NPK, Kompos Solid dan Pupuk Hayati yang Diperkaya Ekstrak Mucuna bracteata terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Cabai (Capsicum annuum L.)
Increasing the production of chili plants in Indonesia continues to be developed, one of which is by using inorganic fertilizer. However, the excessive use of inorganic fertilizers by farmers in Riau Province is quite worrying about the decline in soil quality. Based on this, this research aims to obtain the best combination of giving doses sludge compost and biological fertilizer enriched with Mucuna bracteata extract to reduce the use of NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of red chili plants. The research was carried out using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting 8 treatments and 3 replications so that there 24 experimental units, the treatments used were: P1 = 100% NPK fertilizer; P2 = NPK fertilizer 75% + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (without adding Mucuna bracteata); P3 = 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer (10% Mucuna bracteata); P4 = 75% NPK fertilizer + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (7,5% Mucuna bracteata); P5 = 75% NPK fertilizer + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (5% Mucuna bracteata); P6 = 50% NPK fertilizer + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (10% Mucuna bracteata); P7 = 50% NPK fertilizer + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (7,5% Mucuna bracteata); P8 = 50% NPK fertilizer + sludge compost + biological fertilizer (5% Mucuna bracteata). The research results showed that the combination of 75% NPK fertilizer (188 kg.ha-1) + 20 ton.ha-1 solid compost + biological fertilizer (10% Mucuna bracteata) was the best for the growth and production of red chili plants.
