Pengaruh Pupuk Kascing dan NPK terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Tanaman Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) pada Fase Main Nursery
The aim of this research is to determine the combination of vermicomposting with NPK fertilizer and to obtain the right dose to improve the growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedlings in the main seedling phase in Inceptisol soil. This research was carried out at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya campus km 12.5, Pekanbaru. This research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, namely the first factor was vermicompost fertilizer consisting of threelevels, namely: K1 : 60 g, K2: 75 g, K3: 90 g per polybag; The second factor is NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer consisting of three levels, P1: 33 g, P2: 40 g, P3: 47 g per polybag. The results of the research showed that treatment with vermicompost fertilizer at a dose of 90 g had an effect on the parameters of plant height, tuber diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, dry weight of seedlings and root volume. Providing 40 g of urea fertilizer affected the parameters of plant height, tuber diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, dry weight of seedlings and root volume. Thecombination of administering vermicompost fertilizer at a dose of 90 g and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer at a dose of 40 g per polybag had an effect on plant height, tuber diameter, seed dry weight and root volume. The correct dose to improve the growth of oil palm seedlings can be given a dose of vermicompost fertilizer of 90 g with NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer dose of 40 g per polybag.
