Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengenal Huruf Anak Usia 4–5 Tahun Melalui Media Laci Ajaib di PAUD Amanah Ayah Bunda Kecamatan Kempas Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Abstract: Before conducting classroom action research, background problems, problem formulation and research objectives need to be done in order to occur synchronization between the problem and research objectives. Because the purpose of the research is to solve the problem then if the problem formulation reads: "How do the application of laci ajaib media can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Amanah Ayah Bunda Kempas District Indragiri Hilir regency?", Then the appropriate objectives are "To find out how the application of laci ajaib media can improve the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Amanah Ayah Bunda Kempas District Indragiri Hilir Regency. Once clear the problem and objectives of the study then followed by determining indicators of the application of laci ajaib media can improve the ability to recognize letters and sequence of activities in accordance with the grille of the ability to recognize letters that have been designed previously. The sequence of activities that the researchers pour in the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH), through data collection instruments in the form of activity sheet the ability to recognize letters, activity sheets and activity activities of children. From the result of reflection in the form of evaluation of learning implementation, the researcher undertakes follow-up action for the improvement of the deficiencies that occur in the implementation of learning in accordance with the planned action until the researchers feel satisfied that the actions that have been implemented have fulfilled the success and can improve the ability to recognize letters through the media laci ajaib In children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Amanah Ayah Bunda Kempas District Indragiri Hilir Regency. This study was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle three meetings. Data collection of this research was conducted in April 2017. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively between cycles, while the analysis of the ability to recognize the letters through the laci ajaib media in children was done quantitatively. The amount of letter literacy improvement through laci ajaib media in children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Amanah Ayah Bunda Kempas District Indragiri Hilir Regency obtained the results before cycle I to cycle I of 38.99%, in cycle I to cycle II of 41.63% , And before cycle to cycle II equal to 96,86%.
