Hubungan Pengetahuan tentang Imunisasi dengan Kesediaan Orangtua untuk Melakukan Imunisasi pada 1 Bulan Pertama

Abstract

Immunization is a process to give immunity to baby by administration of a vaccine into the baby so the body will produce antibody for specific illness. Objective to assess for an association between the knowledge of imunization and parent’s willingness to do immunization for the first month of the baby. Methods this is a cross sectional study with total sampling 34 babies. Data was colected using questioner. Chi – square tes was used to analyze the association between two variables (knowleage of immunization and parent’s willingness to do immunization for the first month of the baby). Results from the questioner we got 18 respondent (53%) have knowledge and willing to do immunization. 7 respondent (20.6%) have knowledge but not willing to do immunization. 1 respondent (2.9%) have lack of knowledge but willing to do immunization and 8 respondent (23.5%) lack of knowledge and not willing to do immunization. Conclution there is an association between tne knowledge of immunization and parent’s willingness to do immunization. So this study give information to parent that knowledge is one of method to reach complete immunization target to the baby
