Persepsi Orang Tua Terhadap Karakter Kerja Keras Siswa Selama Belajar Di Rumah Di Kelas V SDN 147 Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine parents' perception of the character of students' hard work during a home study in class V SDN 147 Pekanbaru. This research will be held at SDN 147 Pekanbaru which is located at Jalan Anggrek 2 Garuda Sakti Km. 2 Handsome District of Pekanbaru City of Riau Province. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 school year. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The population taken from this study is the parents of class V students in SDN 147 Pekanbaru, which consists of four classes with 88 students. The sample determination technique in this study used saturated sampling techniques, so the number of samples used was 88 parents of students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation—data analysis techniques used through validity tests and reliability tests. The results showed that; 1) Parents' perception of students' hard work during the home study from the type of work on the indicator of completing tasks well and on time, 2) the percentage of achievements that get the category of arduous work is teachers 88.99% while the percentage of self-employed achievements and homemakers get the category of hard work which is 80.23% and 79.47%; and 3) the perception of parents on indicators is not easy to give up in completing tasks, the percentage of achievements that get the category of arduous work is self-employed 83.49% and teachers 86.01% while homemakers get the category of hard work which is 80.82%.
