The background of the research is decision making conducted by the headmaster of elementary school in Dumai not get target fact, especially at state of elementary school. So, that is why researcher is interested to find the realitionship between two free variable in managerial skill and interpersonal communication with decision making done by the hedmaster.
The purpose of the research is to find out the relationship between managerial skill and decision making, the relationship between interpersonal communication and decision making and relationship among managerial skill and interpersonal communication and decision making. This research are conducted at all elementary school at Dumai and about 80 headmaster with observation methodand corelational research. Example are taking by proportional random sampling is about 44 pearson. The data is taking by the handing out the validity and reability of tests and questioners. And then the data are analizedby product moment (pearson) the result is there is 32,6 % the positive relationship between managerial skill and decision making it is about 30,1 % the positive relationship between managerial skill and interpersonal communication and it is about 45,1% positive relationship among managerial skill interpersonal communication and decision making. From the research above the writer can conclude that decision making can be improve by the improvement managerial skill and interpersonal communication of headmaster.
