Evaluasi Kerusakan Jalan Datuk Setia Maharaja Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Metode Pavement Condition Index (Pci)

ABSTRACT
Datuk Setia Maharaja Pekanbaru city’s road is a collector road that
connect between the activity centers of Pekanbaru that has length about 1.620
meters and width about 12 meters. The purpose of this research were to determine
the types of the damage, and find the index value of the flexible pavement
condition on Datuk Setia Maharaja Pekanbaru city’s road by using the Pavement
Condition Index (PCI) method. This Research was conducted into 3 segments and
each of those were divide into 540 meters per segment.
The result of this research shows that the damage of Datuk Setia Maharaja
Pekanbaru city’s road were patching, bump, bleeding, potholes, raveling, block
crack, alligator crack, diagonal crack, transverse crack, longitudinal crack, edge
cracking, slippage crack, shoving, and patching. The average index value score of
Datuk Setia Maharaja Pekanbaru city’s road is 32 that mean the condition is poor,
so it’s need some serious handling from government to make a repair so it would
make more worse damage.
